‘Marché du Mercredi’ - Local Food Market
The Samoëns market is held on a Wednesday between 9 – 12.30am. You will find all of the food stalls in the big car park near the large ice hockey stadium. If you love local, fresh ingredients, this is not to be missed. In summer, the Sixt market is held on Monday afternoons in the Place du Tilleul near the Office de Tourisme.

‘Sherpa’ - Local Minimarket in Sixt Fer-a-Cheval
The Sherpa Mini-market is located in the centre of Sixt. The owner Frank is extremely friendly. They have an excellent cheese and charcuterie counter.
‘Au Nid Nature’ - For organic food
This well stocked organic food store is located on the place des 7 Monts. You will also find the small Sherpa and Casino supermarkets in Samoëns town centre, these are often open when the main Carrefour isn’t.
‘Société Laitière des Hauts de Savoie’ - Cheese Specialist
For cheese… For a wide selection of local cheeses, head to this place in Samoëns! Biscuits, jams and juices too.
