Mountain People is an independent business representing a carefully selected collection of privately owned chalets across the Grand Massif. Every property is personally selected, and we work closely with homeowners and trusted local management teams to help maintain the high standards expected by both guests and owners.
Rather than offering hundreds of properties, we represent a small portfolio of homes that share our values: quality, character and attention to detail. We believe that the best holidays begin with choosing the right home, and we take pride in providing a personal service to both guests and homeowners, from the first enquiry through to the end of each stay.

Rather than looking for standard properties positioned right on the piste, we go off-piste to find rare rusticity and secluded places of sanctuary. Far from the madding crowd and half-term hordes, each property is carefully selected on its location, charming interior decor and distinct character.
Comfort
Alongside farmhouse authenticity, we always want our guests to feel ‘at home’ and completely comfortable. Our houses are managed and maintained either by a hand-picked team of local professionals, or by a live-in concierge / cleaning team to ensure your utmost comfort during your stay.

For Guests
Our job is to match you with the best holiday home for your needs and requirements. We know our properties inside-out and deal directly with all aspects of the setting up process, including photography, drawing up floor plans and creating detailed house manuals. We have a close working relationship with all of our owners and handle all bookings, from start to finish, on their behalf. We also work closely with local management teams to ensure a smooth holiday.
For Owners
We’ve been operating our business since 2013 but have known Samoens for over 25 years and watched it grow! When you put your trust in us, we take that seriously, working hard to build a lasting relationship and handling all of the admin and headaches of property lettings for you. We find the rentals, manage the bookings, take great care of guests, all the while working alongside great local teams that will take care for your home away from home when you’re not there .
