The ground floor of this comfortable chalet is perfectly located just 10 minutes walk or 2 minutes drive from the centre of Morillon and its ski lift. Enjoy a perfect balance of calm and privacy, but also close access to essential local amenities, bars and restaurants.
The property benefits from a modern open plan kitchen with living / dining room, which features lovely mountain views and a superb space to socialise and relax after a long day on the slopes or hiking trails.

The chalet provides accommodation for 8 guests in 4 well-proportioned en-suite bedrooms. The brand new bathrooms are private to each bedroom, therefore no morning queues for the shower... !
For those who wish to walk to the ski lift (approximately 10 minutes), it is possible to leave your ski and snowboard equipment at the rental store overnight. There is plenty of parking if you prefer to drive.

The floor above is currently being renovated (ready in 2024/25) and therefore the exterior of the property may not have a fully finished appearance this winter season 2024. The floor above is currently being renovated (ready in 2024/25) and therefore the exterior of the property may not have a fully finished appearance this winter season 2024. We have reduced the rates accordingly and you will not be disturbed by any noise during your stay. Please be aware of this before booking and let us know if you have any questions.
A car is essential to get around. The chalet is located above the main village. It takes just a few minutes to reach the ski lift and snow chains may be required during periods of heavy snow. There is no ski bus from the property.
Though rare - due to the mountain location - it is also possible that the wi-fi internet is at times slower depending on weather and time of year.
The chalet is not wheelchair accessible. For those with reduced mobility, please note that there are stairs and steps within the property.

Location
Chalet La Cuttaz is located above Morillon village and within a practical distance to the ski lift. The location is perfect for privacy and to enjoy an authentic mountain experience. It takes around 10 minutes to walk to the centre of Morillon or just a couple of minutes by car to reach the ‘Telecabine de Morillon’ lift connecting you to the Grand Massif ski domain in winter, which boasts some of the best skiing in the world. Suitable for all levels, there is over 275km of piste and 139 slopes to explore and plenty of off-piste for more advanced skiers. In the summer, this area is a hub for adventure sports such as hiking, mountain biking, climbing and paragliding.

Morillon Centre: 0.4km; Ski Bus: 0.5km; Ski Lift: 0.7km; Geneva Airport: 80km (1hr 15); Paris: 600km (6hrs+); London: 1,000km (12hrs+)
A car is recommended at this chalet. However for larger groups, or those with a scattered arrival time, you may additionally opt for a transfer service directly from Geneva Airport, which will take you directly to the chalet. For bookings between November – April, the road is ploughed 2 – 3 times daily but it is always a good idea to arrive prepared for heavy snow conditions. It is legal requirement in the French Alps to come equipped with either a full set of winter tyres or snow chains that specifically fit you vehicle - or ideally both.

Chalet La Cuttaz is available to rent all year round… Email or give us a call for any further information
Changeover day for the chalet is Sunday… However please ask if you’d like a different arrival day as we can sometimes be flexible
Security Deposit amount is €600 (or £600) – Payable by Bank Transfer before arrival
Rental payments can be paid in 2 instalments – a 30% deposit is required at the time of booking, the 70% balance will be due 60 days before arrival.
Pet Policy: We are dog-friendly and can accept one small/medium, well behaved & house trained dog at an extra charge of €100. We ask that all furry guests are kept out of bedrooms and prevented from climbing onto furniture. All dog litter should be removed from exterior spaces (garden, porch, patio and green spaces around the property). Pets must be declared at the time of booking, with details including age, breed, size and temperament.
